The Charlotte Bobcats kickoff a three-game road swing Monday when they invade South Beach to take on the Miami Heat.
The Bobcats dropped their second straight game on Saturday when Cleveland's LeBron James scored 25 points to lead the Cavaliers in a 94-74 thrashing of Charlotte at Time Warner Cable Arena.
Rookie D.J. Augustin had 17 points to pace the Bobcats, who matched their season-low in points in the game. Raymond Felton added 15 points and five assists in defeat.
Charlotte, which is just 1-5 on the road this season, will also visit New Orleans and Dallas on its trek.
The Heat, meanwhile, opened a three-game homestand on a positive note Saturday when Dwyane Wade scored 38 points and Miami won its third straight game with a 105-99 triumph over the woeful Oklahoma City Thunder.
Wade shot 14-of-24 from the field and also had seven assists as the Heat won their straight for the first time since April 3-7, 2007 and improved to 6-3 at American Airlines Arena. Wade's 38 points were the most for a Heat player against the Seattle/Oklahoma City franchise.
Udonis Haslem added 15 points and 14 rebounds for the Heat, who also got 15 points and 12 boards from Shawn Marion. Rookie Mario Chalmers scored 15 in the win.
Miami will close out its residency against Atlanta on December 12.
On the injury front for the Heat, star rookie Michael Beasley is questionable for tonight's game with blurred vision while reserve guard Chris Quinn is probable with a sprained left ankle.
The Bobcats topped Miami, 100-87, in Charlotte earlier this season when Gerald Wallace scored a season-high 34 points and have won two straight versus the Heat and six of seven overall. However, the Bobcats have dropped six of their past eight meetings with the Heat in South Beach.
Wallace is doubtful for Charlotte tonight as he deals with a death in the family, while oft-injured forward Sean May is questionable with right knee tendinitis.
