Watching, wondering during All-Star Weekend
Even with his performance in the Skills Challenge during All-Star Saturday, it seems as if Dwyane Wade's issues are as mental as physical at this point. Burned out at 26?

It sure seemed as if the Heat could have compiled just as much junk as Atlanta did in landing Mike Bibby. The only answer has to be that the Heat just wasn't as interested.
*
Watching Jason Kapono in the 3-point contest was another reminder of how special a shooter the Heat unearthed, and of how much it misses him.
*
The way Ron Artest is waffling over his future, it seems the Heat already is in too fragile a position to move in that direction.
*
The enticement of Jason Williams' and Ricky Davis' expiring contracts essentially expires at Thursday's trading deadline. Considering one seemingly checked out a while ago and the other never checked in, to get nothing in return would be yet another loss.
*
If the league sticks with a no-newcomers-allowed approach for the March 8 replay of the end of the protested Dec. 19 game in Atlanta, the options certainly would be limited.
*
The Heat would be limited to utilizing Davis, Wade, Dorell Wright, Chris Quinn, Daequan Cook, Mark Blount, Earl Barron, Alexander Johnson and Udonis Haslem, who would be one foul from fouling out.
*
The Hawks would be limited to Marvin Williams, Al Horford, Joe Johnson, Zaza Pachulia, Mario West, Acie Law, Solomon Jones and Salim Stoudamire, with Horford and Pachulia one foul from disqualification.
